July 8, 1999. Florida. Allen Lee Davis. When hit with the 2,300
volts, blood poured from Davis' mouth. The blood poured onto the collar of his white shirt, and oozed onto his chest. By the time he was pronounced dead, the stain on Davis' chest had grown to the size of a dinner plate, and seeped through buckle holes on the leather chest strap holding him to the chair. Davis was the first inmate to be executed in Florida's new electric chair.

Of coarse the fact that Davis had gorged himself on commissary during his stay on the Row ,weighed over 300 pounds and had a very elevated blood pressure, could very well have caused the nose bleed.....I don't believe we can honestly say that bleeding during a process intended to kill you would qualify as botched.....Antis like to shout that killers are humans too, well heres a wake up call....SOMETIMES HUMANS BLEED WHEN THEY DIE
oh i wasn't saying i thought Davis was a botched execution cause like you say he did die in the end, but i was saying this is the only case the sticks to my mind and perhaps it is because the antis throw these pictures around so often.
A little nose bleed is nothing compared to the slaughter he was sentenced to die for, i have seen the crime scene photos and there was ALOT more blood on the floor and walls then on his little white shirt.
i feel no sympathy for davis.
